Roblox to Enact Child-Safety Changes Giving Parents More Control

Roblox have (Finally) announced massive new changes to better protect children. Like me, i'm sure all of your kids have or do play roblox, and the grooming, abuse and even reported abductions is rampant on this platform, with 40% of their 80 million daily active accounts used by kids under 13.

The new changes brings in:

* Children under the age of 13 will need parental permission to use the platform’s chat features

* Children under 9 will need permission to play games with moderate violence or crude humor.

* They have introduced a new type of account that allows parents to monitor their child’s friends and online activities.

As always, the esafety commissioner has great advice on the risks, threats and protecting your kids on roblox and every other platform and game you can think of: https://www.esafety.gov.au/key-topics/esafety-guide/roblox
